Access to the Network
Drivers in North America will be pleased to learn that Mercedes-Benz battery electric vehicles (BEVs) will be able to charge at Tesla Supercharger® stations across the United States and Canada. For American drivers, that access begins in February of 2025, and for Canadian drivers, later in the year. The network has over 20,000 chargers, making long-distance and daily driving smooth and easy and helping to support the Mercedes-Benz commitment to fast and convenient charging and sustainable driving.
At the moment, drivers have access to the Mercedes-Benz Me Charge network, which includes Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging®, IONNA®, Electrify America®, EVGo®, and ChargePoint®. The Tesla Supercharger® network brings the number of public charging stations available for Mercedes-Benz drivers to over 110,000.
Charging for All Mercedes-Benz Models
Electric driving technology constantly changes, but you don’t have to worry about your Mercedes-Benz EV. If you have CCS1-compatible charging ports in your vehicle, you’ll be able to purchase a Mercedes-Benz-approved NACS to CCS1 DC fast charging adapter from authorized dealerships, which will allow you to utilize the Tesla Supercharger® network. All future models will be built with the charging hardware needed.
