What Is RIDEVU?
RIDEVU is the Sony Pictures Entertainment in-car entertainment service. In partnership with IMAX Corporation®, Mercedes-Benz, and DTS Inc., IMAX Enhanced® movies will now be available through the Sony Pictures library in select Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This includes blockbuster movies like Venom: The Last Dance, Spiderman: No Way Home, and Uncharted, all delivered to your vehicle with the sound and picture feel of a real theater.
The program is simple and easy to use, with the Screen Manager function allowing you to control streaming, and access to thousands of movies for rent, purchase, or streaming on up to six screens. Both front and rear passengers will be able to enjoy the RIDEVU system, and when the vehicle is in park, the driver can also enjoy movies on the central display.
What Vehicles Feature the RIDEVU System?
This new entertainment system will be available in vehicles in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany, and ready for you to enjoy later this year. It is available in select Mercedes-Benz vehicles with the MBUX® Entertainment Package Plus. You’ll also need an active Mercedes-Benz Connect subscription in order to access to the service.
